The department functions because the backbone of Hospital extending its services to all or any other clinical departments. The Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care offers comprehensive perioperative patient care services to all or any surgical departments. The dedicated, highly qualified anaesthesiologists provide perioperative care within the operating rooms, labor analgesia services, critical care services, pain management and outreach anaesthesia. The BLS/ACLS trained team of anaesthesiologists extends their support to other specialties around the clock.

• Pre-Anaesthetic Clinic: All elective cases are evaluated and prepared in the pre-anaesthetic clinic.
• Intensive Care Units: Pain relief, resuscitation, respiratory support including mechanical ventilation.
• Emergency Medicine: Resuscitation and trauma care.
• Pain and Palliative Care: Pain relief and support care are offered to terminally ill cancer patients.
